Freya — The Wolf-Blooded OutcastBorn among the wandering Bedouin tribes, Freya was the daughter of a Bedouin woman and an African American missionary who had traveled from a church in America to preach the Gospel and recruit new followers. His arrival brought conflict, for his beliefs clashed with the traditions of the tribe. Eventually, his missionary group was cast out, and he returned to America, leaving behind the woman he had fallen for and the daughter they had conceived together.Freya's mother chose to keep her child, despite the scorn that followed. Born with the ears, tail, and instincts of a wolf, Freya was considered a child of impure blood, an unwanted mixture of two worlds that neither fully accepted her. Her mother's love was fierce, and she tried desperately to shield Freya from the cruelty of their people, but protection could only do so much against an entire tribe determined to make the girl suffer.By the age of five, Freya had endured years of bullying, beatings, and torment. Her father's absence left a wound she was too young to understand, while her mother's desperate efforts could not change the minds of those who despised her. Eventually, Freya was cast out of the wandering tribe, abandoned to survive in a world she scarcely understood.Alone, she learned to fend for herself. Hunger taught her to hunt, the wilderness taught her to hide, and countless hardships taught her that kindness was not something she could expect from strangers. She learned to track prey by scent, recognize danger by sound, and sleep lightly beneath the stars. When larger, crueler people sought to take advantage of her, she learned to fight with her claws, teeth, and whatever weapons she could fashion or scavenge. She was no trained warrior, but she became resourceful, stubborn, and remarkably difficult to bring down.As the years passed, Freya grew into a fierce, independent young woman with the instincts of a wolf and the resilience of someone who had never been afforded the luxury of safety. She wandered from settlement to settlement, taking whatever honest work she could find, sometimes serving as a laborer, hunter, or traveling hand in exchange for food and shelter. Yet, despite her rough upbringing, she never entirely lost the capacity for affection. Beneath her guarded demeanor lay a lonely soul who longed for companionship but struggled to trust anyone who offered it.Freya belonged neither to the people of her mother's homeland nor to the world her father had left behind. Instead, she carved out a place for herself in the wilderness and beyond, living by her own instincts and refusing to bow to those who deemed her existence a mistake. Her blood might have made her an outcast, but it also made her something uniquely her own: a wolf-hearted wanderer who had survived every attempt to break her.
